Dr. Manhattan gave a speech that I found absolutely profound when admitting that he was wrong about miracles, “Miracles (are) events with astronomical oddsof occurring, like oxygen turning into gold.I’ve longed to witness such an event, and yet I neglect that in human coupling millions upon millions of cells compete to create life for generation after generation until finally, your mother Ioves a man, Edward Blake, the Comedian, a man she has every reason to hate and out of that contradiction, against unfathomable odds it’s you. Onlyyouthat emerged. To distil so specific a formfrom all that chaosis like turning air into gold. A miracle.” He spoke this while looking into the eyes of the woman he purports to “love” and I thought It was an excellent speech.
I have often questioned the relevance of life, especially in the face of chaos. Children are born into this world out of random acts of pleasure, or more traumatic circumstances. Many are not plannedfor and abortion becomes a viable option to keep one free from disgrace or unwanted responsibilities. The value of life is very often misunderstood, and taken for granted, yet I am aware that the process of conception far supersedes the very act of procreation. As one of my mentors would say, sex has the innate potential to pull a soul from another dimension to be born into this one. That is who you are. A soul from another dimension intricately entwined with a natural body and the breath of God and put here on earth for a specific purpose. How you got here is highly irrelevant. The reality we all must face is that, we are here, and we are here now, but why?
Purpose eludes us as it is seemingly shrouded in darkness, but often revealed through intentionally pursuing what we feel, desire and connect with inside us. I find then that it is chaos that reveals us, but it is also chaos that shrouded our imminent destinies because we cannot fathom that there is a real God, and we are entwined with divinity in the face of our chaotic lives. But how will we know when we have found our purpose? You will know when you have discovered a cause for it will be one for which you are willing to die. A universal theme of ascension is a willingness to lay our lives down for a cause greater than ourselves. Jesus did it. Everyone being worshiped as a god understood this principle, but those who have never attained to such a level sees others as an exception or some form of divinity without realizing that discovering who we truly are is not really a spiritual journey but deals with human potential. In the beginning — God made man. He did not makespiritist, occultist, mystics, prophets, Christians, etc. Man has far greater potential than we have realized, and while this truth has been perpetuated through the imaginations of those daring enough to put their thoughts out there, this truth has still managed to elude us and go unnoticed. Yet we are consistently told that whatever our imagination can conceive is achievable.
In chaos and death is hidden mysteries of a life beyond this one, attainable only by those who are hungry enough and brave enough to step beyond the boundaries imposed upon many generations of our existence by fear. That is where miracles exist, on the other side of fear. Miracles happen every day. You are one of them. Only fear and uncertainty could have stopped you from coming here, but it didn’t.
